2025 USA Powerlifting Oregon State Championships (OR-2025-01)

I. Description:

The 2025 USAPL Oregon State Championships is open to all USAPL members in Oregon and the surrounding states.

II. Requirements:
- Must have a non-expired USAPL membership on meet date (2024 or 2025). If you need to get/renew your USAPL membership, you can still register for the meet now, and purchase the membership on November 1st so that it covers 2025 as well.
- For placing in your division & weight class, you must be an Oregon residents*, meaning the address shown on your USAPL membership card must be an Oregon address. You can still compete if you're from out-of-state, see Out-of-state section below. 
- All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.
- No qualifying total needed for this meet.

III. General info:

When: March 22, 2025

Where: Forever Strong Gym, Springfield, OR

This will be a one-platform, one-day meet with two sessions total.

This meet can be used to:

- Qualify for any Nationals including 2025 Raw Nationals (since this is State Championships).

- Break American Records.  Record database

 

IV. Registration Timeline (meet shirt not included):

Early Bird Registration deadline: October 31, 2024 - $125

Regular Registration deadline: January 31, 2025 - $150

Late Registration: from 02/01 to 03/08 - $175

Additional division: $25

Registration closes after March 8, 2025.

 

V. Meet Schedule (tentative): This will be a two-session, one-platform meet.

- Optional Early Equipment Check (not weigh-in): Friday, March 31.

- Weigh-in on 03/22, Session* 1: 7:00AM - 8:30AM / Session* 2: 1PM - 2:30PM

- Lifting starts at 9AM for Session 1, 3PM for Session 2.

*Sessions are breakdown based on gender, weight class & amount of lifters signed up.

 

VI. Out-of-state (non-Oregon resident)

Since this is the Oregon State Championships, Out-of-State lifters are welcomed but will be assigned under Guest Lifter Division. See the screenshot from USAPL Rulebook below for more info:

* Guest lifters are not eligible for awards within age divisions. 

* Guest lifters may set state and American records and may earn a qualifying total for a national meet.

* Guest lifters are subject to all normal rules of competition and must meet the same qualifying criteria to enter the meet.

* We will have awards for Guest Lifters based on DOTS points.

(If you are currently residing in Oregon but still have an out-of-state address on your USAPL card, if you want, you can change it to your OR address on the USAPL Membership website, to avoid competing as a Guest Lifter. Once changed, please let us know)

VII. Changes after signing up:

For any meet change request including weight class, division, team name, etc.. Any division(s) add or changes or add won’t be accepted within 2 weeks out from the date of the meet.
